Drop-off and Pick-up
- No Drop-off in Fire Lane: All drop-off and pick-up of children/members should not occur in front of the building due to fire lane regulations.
- Use Dedicated Parking Spots: Please use dedicated parking spots for the safe entry and exit of your child.
Outside Food and Drink
- Prohibition: Outside food and drink are not permitted within the club premises.
Booking Policies
- Court Bookings and Lessons:
- Courts can be booked up to 10 days in advance via the member portal on our website.
- Lessons can also be booked 10 days in advance using the same method.
- Special Events and Parties: Contact info@cedarspringsclub.ca for arrangements.
Cancellations and Refunds
- Cancel Registration:
- No refunds for cancelled registrations, including COVID-19 cancellations.
- Changes to tennis programs must be requested at least two weeks prior to the first day of the session.
- Refunds: No refunds for cancelled registrations.
- No Make-Up Classes: PTA does not provide make-up classes for any missed lessons.
Supervision and Conduct of Children
- Check-In Responsibility: Parents or guardians must check in their child(ren) upon arrival, regardless of whether they stay or leave.
- Supervision Requirements: Children 12 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult, except during registered programs, classes, or lessons.
- Responsibility Disclaimer: PTA is not responsible for the behaviour of parents/guardians or children, whether supervised or unattended.
- Behavioural Standards:
- Disruptive or negligent behaviour may result in immediate removal from the premises.
- The facility reserves the right to permanently prohibit entry for disruptive children.
- Health Considerations: Ill children should not be brought to the facility. Parents are encouraged to use their best judgment for everyone's safety.
- Support: Parents are encouraged to support their children but must respect coaches’ authority during practices and matches.
Anti-Harassment Policy
- Commitment to Respect: PTA is dedicated to a respectful and safe environment for all individuals.
- Definitions:
- Harassment: Unwelcome conduct that creates an intimidating or hostile environment.
- Violence: Physical force intended to cause harm or threats of harm.
- Responsibilities: All individuals are expected to treat each other with respect. Management is responsible for enforcing this policy.
- Reporting Procedure:
- Report incidents to management or designated personnel.
- An investigation will be conducted promptly and confidentially.
- Confidentiality: All complaints will be handled with sensitivity and privacy.
- Non-Retaliation: Retaliation against individuals reporting harassment or participating in investigations is prohibited.
Consent for Participation and Medical Treatment
- Insurance Responsibility: PTA does not provide insurance. Participants are responsible for their own medical expenses.
- Acknowledgment of Risks: Participants acknowledge inherent risks in athletic activities.
- Consent for Medical Treatment: Consent is given for emergency medical treatment in case of injury or illness.
- Waiver of Liability: Participants waive liability against PTA for medical treatment.
- Safety Measures: Participants must obey safety rules and report any physical problems.
Lost and Found/Valuables
- No Responsibility for Lost Items: PTA will not be responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles inside or outside the premises.
